The experiential exhibition “Color Tickle” explores the world of vision, color synthesis, and the history of photography through installations and animations.
Over the coming year, the fascinating vaulted halls and corridors of the medieval prison at the Fotomuuseum will host the immersive journey of “Color Tickle.” Through hands-on exhibits, the exhibition introduces visitors of all ages to the principles of color physics, human color perception, and the history of color photography. Along the way, visitors can enter the Eye, experience color synthesis, colorize photos, navigate a labyrinth of Estonia’s oldest color photographs, and explore many other engaging activities.
The exhibition highlights key milestones in the history of color photography, from the first color photograph presented in 1861 to today’s digital photography.
